I am over cruelty of any kind and intend it and all its incarnations to the end of my phurba. Life is hard enough we simply don’t have time for mean spiritedness. The spiritual community is full of cliques that mean nothing to the real world in the bowls of a city scape where vagrants, hoes, drug dealers and the so called low lives of all types are just everyday people trying to get by.
“Power of the physical is only limited by the power of the mind and the spirit driving or flowing through it…” - The Rza
But what does this mean and is it true? We ought not just believe something or take it at face value because it sounds good other wise it won’t work for us. If power is only the ability to do something effectively and no matter what the new age shamans say most people are powerless most of the time in any given area of life. I have been temporally stripped of my material wealth (this time has past and I am on the rise) to show me exactly what is truly important in life. Most of this has been about facing my worst fears and how to move around without attracting too much attention which is important operating in the concrete jungle of forbidden pleasure.
Sometimes you have to ask yourself what is really important to you. The Goddess is good but it is difficult to trust your environment. Understand wherever you currently find yourself your environment is alive. It is the Goddess and it moves with great force. People love meditating on the forest and waters of nature but what about the great power of the machine? Do you meditate upon the city? Do you know her? She provides all things great and small to her children. It all belongs to her and it won’t move until she says so. The city is closest to being the Goddess then any human female. She is a harness of the Great Goddess Earth and she gives you back what you sacrifice to her 1000X strength. However, unlike the earth, the city exists solely to take care of us. Talk to the city about what you see that is wrong and ways to fix it. Imagine how your city can be better. If there is homelessness and crime don’t push it into the shadows, find what it is good for beyond social conditioning and ways to better support this function. Dream them up, place them in your journal, set your intensions and do your ritual using the power of the city. Waste no more time in solace of your own cruelty and walk in the darkness with a fierce light of understanding of what your environment truly is. It is easy to say the goddess is good when you are in good times but to run and hide when others are in trouble, to curse the goddess and your teachers because times are hard, this is also easy. However, to embrace those you perceive surrounded by chaos and pain, to praise the Greatness of the Goddess and your teachers and see them as no less good during the dark storms of the ouroboros and learn instead to dance in the rain. If you avoid helping because you fear that this dragon will suck you in as well then you are a coward. If you avoid helping because there is no reward, then you are not only cruel but greedy. Live your life well, but only if you can look the dragon in the eyes and find peace.

THE SWORD
It’s a morose road paved with the memories of the price to live.
So the ukdena patrols once darkness covered streets,
to go out before the world a prodigious gator,
as to spread harmony and beauty where few find some,
where there is a hole in the bucket
and healing of a father’s tears.
That perfect patch work coat hides a secret,
unstoppable and fast
wraith of Damballah,
bring the light,
to shadows deep?

Hoodoo Secrets of Changing Stress
In times of stress it is very difficult to feel and remember your true power. However, there are some things to help. For sure you ought to keep up on your breath work and shielding. We will deal with shielding another time for now we shall brush up on our breath work skill. The minimum time is 5 minutes per day to maintain and develop the hara which is the center of life force within the body. Clear the mind and be gentle and controlled with the breath. Place the tongue on the roof of the mouth just behind the teeth and imagine the Ki or life force flowing like water into your hara which is 3 inches below the belly button in the center of the gut between the kidneys. Feel it radiating from there to all your body and mind, becoming an infinite loop that cannot be broken, locked within, you are safe and protected, you cannot be depleted, drained nor attached. Fu Gon.
You inhale for a count, hold for half the count, exhale for the same count you inhaled and then hold the breath out for half the count. For example if you inhale for a count of 10, you will hold your breath for a count of 5 then exhale for a count of 10, you will start over only after holding the breath out for a count of 5. You must breathe in deeply so the diaphragm lowers into the belly and the belly expands. Most people breathe only into the clavicles but you must stretch the lungs so you breathe into the belly. As you breathe visualize with all your senses a golden watery light entering into every pour of your body. Do this until you can feel the energy filling your body. In this you will stand with your legs spread about shoulder width apart and your arms out to the sides. Preform shamanic breathing and imagine the light entering the crown chakra, the hands and feet and collect it in the hara. You may want to build up to this. Start with the crown chakra and collect in the hara do 4 breathes. Then inhale through the feet and legs 4 breathes. Next inhale through the chakras of the hands through the arms and collect 4 breathes. Now do them all together along with breathing through the pours and do 8 breathes. Preform this for 30 minutes a day and you will really feel the energy flowing through you, but only the really committed will go that far and it is not a necessity. Holding 2 quartz crystals one in each hand between the thumb, index and middle fingers will greatly enhance this process.
Times of stress can also weaken the immune system. A good way to guard against this is the secret weapon of the old world Hoodoo. Legend says this formula was used to protect against the black plague. Its name feared by evil spirits, vampires, ghost and viruses of all types and its name is 4 thieves vinegar. My own recipe is lobelia, elderberry, 1 whole garlic, saga and wormwood in raw apple cider vinegar soaked for 28 days new moon to new moon. In Hoodoo we believe that if you ain’t chanting you ain’t working spirit. At the House of the Dragon we sing the left-hand path mantra of Kali 28,000 + 1 times over 28 days which permanently charges the mantra then you can take a table spoon daily also rubbing it over your body for external fortitude and shielding.
I hope you all enjoyed this issue and ask yourself if this is what I give for free what am I holding back for sale.
